News: New boutique residential project initiated in JB
Developer Mudra Tropika Sdn Bhd will transform an undeveloped enclave into a RM30 million ultra-exclusive boutique residential property, right in the centre of Johor Bahru, according to the New Straits Times.
The new residential property, dubbed the 28@Gertak Merah, is located in Jalan Mustapha, in the old part of Johor Bahru.
The 28 limited edition units comprising three-storey semi-detached homes feature an open rooftop garden on international leasehold lots. Measuring 384 sq m each, the units have four bedrooms and four bathrooms and are priced from RM1.1 million to RM2.5 million.
The whole development is nestled on a 1.861-ha land area, amid greenery and away from the commercial areas of the city. Slated to be completed by early 2014, the project boasts a modern colonial-cum-tropical concept design.
Mohd Nazim Sabtu, Chief Executive Officer at Mudra Tropika, said every unit will be equipped with an automatic gate for security, panic buttons and alarm system.
"It will be a 24-hour guarded community to ensure the well-being of its residents," he noted, adding that the project's main advantage is its location that is less than three km from the Johor Baru city centre.
"In a nutshell, it's an exclusive residential area in the heart of Johor Baru," added Nazim. He also mentioned that Mudra Tropika planned for the low-density boutique residential project nearly two years ago.
The 28@Gertak will be a main part of Iskandar Malaysia Economic Development Corridor's Flagship A zone.
